Our Mission is to provide innovative programs that help children, families, and employers work together to be their very best.  We are committed to providing the highest quality childcare and early education.

HISTORY:

TodayCare Children’s Centers opened its first center in 1999 in Nashville, TN, offering mildly ill and back up childcare services to the families of their corporate partners. Those partners included some of the leading corporations, law firms, accounting firms, and hospitals in the Nashville business community. Soon, the business model expanded to offer traditional and back up childcare services in other markets, including Birmingham, AL, Memphis, TN, Tampa, FL, and Walnut Grove, CA.

 

 

In 2016, TodayCare Children’s Centers relocated its corporate offices to St. Louis, MO.

 

 

TodayCare Children’s Centers focuses on working with corporations and institutions in the United States, offering worksite child care center management and childcare solutions designed to meet the needs of today’s working parents. With a long history of program innovation and center management, we have worked with clients in healthcare, banking, corporate, higher education, and government.

Leadership Team

Curtis Simpson, CEO:

Curtis has over thirty years of experience as an executive in the insurance industry. His focus with TodayCare is overseeing employee benefits, financial, legal, and marketing aspects of the company. He holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois.

Judy Simpson,

President, and COO:

Judy has been in the Early Childhood field for over forty-five years. She has served in senior leadership with some of the leading childcare companies in the United States, including Children’s World (now Kindercare), Corporate Family Solutions, and Bright Horizons. She joined TodayCare as VP of Operations in 2001 and continues to work closely with clients and center management to assure quality and service delivery at every level of the company.

 

Judy holds a BS degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Illinois and an MBA in Business from Webster University. She earned a Design Certificate in Children’s Spaces from Harvard University Graduate School of Design.

 

She has been a leader in the early childhood profession, serving on state boards and providing leadership training at the national level. She is past President and Accreditation Chair of the River’s Bend (St. Louis MO) AEYC. She has been active in the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC), serving as an accreditation validator for many years.

 

Judy oversees field operations, working closely with the education, quality assurance, and center training team to support center directors and teachers. She will be in each center and meet with clients regularly.

Jack Wallace,

Vice President of Business Development and Client Relations:  

Jack has worked in the Early Childhood field for over thirty-five years. He has served as VP of Operations with CorporateFamily Solutions and Bright Horizons. He was EVP of Business Development with Children’s Choice Learning Centers and VP of Client Relations with Knowledge Learning (now Kindercare at Work) before joining TodayCare Children’s Centers.

 

For the past twenty years, Jack has led the development and has overseen worksite child care programs for some of the leading corporations in the US, including Ryder, Carnival Cruise Lines, Turner/CNN, and HCA.

 

Jack holds a BA degree in Psychology and graduate work in Family Studies from the University of Tennessee.

 

His responsibilities are the client relationship. He works closely with the Leadership Team to develop innovative childcare programs and center management solutions that meet the needs of employers and their employees.

Carol Ennis,

Director of Education and Training:

 

Carol has a long history in the early childhood field. She has been a Center Director, Regional Manager (Bright Horizons), a trainer, and a frequent speaker at early childhood conferences. She served as a Validator and a Commissioner with NAEYC for 16 years.

 

Carol holds a BS degree in Early Childhood from the University of Memphis, and a BS in Management from Crichton Christian University.

Her focus is on teacher training and curriculum implementation.

Tammi Grigg,

Program Coordinator:

Tammi has worked for TodayCare Children's Center for the past fourteen years of which the last eight years as Assistant Director. During this time, Tammi has built and managed websites for all TodayCare centers as well as maintaining all of the childcare programs to include Childcare Manager, Kyambu, LifeCubby, Procare, KidReports and Parent Engage. 

 

Tammi has her AA in Elementary Education, an AS in Human Services and a BS in Business Management from Hodges University and has over 30+ years in early childhood experience.

 

As our Program Coordinator, she will be assisting all centers with childcare programming, websites, center wide forms and assisting centers during their set up/reopening processes.
